For many years now we’ve been having technical issues with our one and only tractor and it has become a bit of a never ending story…

Thanks to your kind donations we were able to raise enough to pay for repairs of the tractor, which then kept us going through spring and summer, right up till now.

However, we are sad to say that the tractor has broken again and this time we think it might be the end of its life. And this is the reason why we are reaching to you again! READ MORE HERE >

We’re in a desperate situation with our poly tunnel being so badly damaged from this awful weather. Our residents are in need of a new cover urgently, especially with winter approaching.

CAROLE: “Last night i felt broken, its rained nearly all day, my poly tunnels were flooded the top of one is ripped with the wind and the torrential rain. Salvi was battling out there all day when he should be resting after his eye operation. Abi and Jayne have been battling to feed the sheep, my poor sheep, they desperately need shelter in the poly tunnel. Please help if you can.”

On 16th July 2020 we successfully raised £11,000 with 266 supporters in 42 days!

Our initial target of £5000 which we successfully reached is going to be spent on building pathways throughout the sanctuary.

We also managed to raise additional £1000 which we would like to put towards upgrading our outdoor pig pens, so that all our piggies have ample space, in which to enjoy the country air, they deserve. Click below to read more…

“I don’t think I have met anyone to whom sheep are dearer…

Carole knew the name of every sheep she was caring for and what I was able to see with my own eyes that the sheep felt similarly about her.”

How to support the animals

It currently costs around £90,000 per year to run. We never make a profit – everything is invested back into the animals. We are all so very grateful here at FARS for any size donation.

Another way to support us is by sponsoring one of our cheeky characters, purchasing from our Amazon or Ebay wish list, sign up to easy-fundraising which prompts the shops to donate everytime you purchase, or maybe purchase some of our ethically sourced branded merchandise from our online shop, all of which have been designed by our volunteers, so 100% of the profits go to the animals. You can send money via paypal, to our Winter Hay appeal or Tractor for Christmas appeal or BACS direct into our back account:
